ABOUT NRHA
The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) was founded in 1966 as a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of reining horses in a fun-filled family atmosphere. It serves as the standard setting body for the sport of reining worldwide.
ABOUT NRHASA
The National Reining Horse Association South Africa (NRHASA) is the official NRHA affiliate for the South African region. Our objective is to introduce riders to the amazing athletic ability and solid temperament of the reining horse and to assist SA reining-horse riders achieve their full potential by facilitating the opportunity to compete internationally, against some of the the best reiners in the world.
NRHASA was invited to join the NRHA Oceania family in 2022
Our purpose is to facilitate access to the international reining horse community and develop the standards of performance judging and breeding of reining horses in South Africa.
Our mission is to promote the reining horse and the sport of reining in South Africa while upholding the finest traditions of western horsemanship.
